  1. So many good books on your review list! Crazy Love has long been a favorite on my bookshelf, and “Who’s Your Father” looks very interesting.

    1. Thank-you Kristi, and sorry for taking so long to respond. I’m always glad when people find my lists or reviews helpful. Yes, Who’s Your Father is one that is not well known but I found to be quite good. Would love to know if you have any books that you would recommend!

  2. I am relaunching my Christian Children’s Book and would love for you to review it. Please let me know what you think and I can gift you a kindle copy or send you a paperback.

I look forward to your response and have a blessed day,

    Tammy Domingue

    1. Hi Tammy, Sorry for taking so long to reply to your request. I get a lot of requests from authors to read and review their books, so I am very selective about which ones I will do and mainly try to choose books that I feel would fit with my blog, which doesn’t really include children’s picture books. Going to have to pass on this one, but thanks for asking me. God bless!

  3. Good afternoon madam, very awesome blog. Thank you for your time and zeal in reviewing books of faith. I was wondering if you’d be interested in reviewing a book I wrote (not typed or formatted yet I’ve been busy). At any rate it’s called, ‘At The Heart of Hamlet’ and it’s a commentary on Shakespeare’s play. It looks to solve the undying and mysterious problem of hamlet through a biblical lens. I draw from the play ideals and metaphors that that are steeped in Scriptural understanding. That being said I’d be tickled if I could get a rave review, (would accept if review wasn’t rave…)it be a confidence booster for sure. A good review would land on the uppermost part of the book cover when it’s self published through Barnes and Noble press. Many blessings and hope to hear back!

    1. Hi Nathan, I apologize for taking so long to reply to you. I receive many requests every month for book reviews and am very selective about the ones I will post here. For one thing, my To-Read list is ever growing and I can only read so much. Also, you may have noticed my site has a specific focus, that being Books I believe every Christian should read. That doesn’t mean every book I publish a review on will necessarily meet that criteria, but I limit my reviews mostly to works of non-fiction, history/biography, and classic literature that I feel are profitable for Christians to read. For the most part, I really don’t do young children’s books (although I have shared a few), nor contemporary secular “self-help” books, fiction, romance, or sci-fi. I am a fan of Shakespeare, however, and Hamlet is among my top favorite plays. Like you, I like digging out biblical themes and principles from his works. You may certainly email me about your book, but as I say, I am very careful about the books I agree to read and review because 1) I feel I owe it to the requestor to read it promptly while I have so many others I want to read soon, and 2) if I don’t care for it or don’t want to share it on my site I feel bad. So I cannot make any promises, but as I said, if you want to send me more details or a copy of your book in some form, I would be curious to check it out.
